I think I'm going to try and avoid listening to any of the songs before I see him in Ottawa on tuesday night. This one time, I'd like to experience the effect of hearing the songs performed live before I hear them on record.

I was going to do the opposite and listen to it repeatedly for the 3-4 days I have it in my possession before the Toronto show. I've always found that knowing the material before any show (for any band) heightens the concert experience for me. However you've got me rethinking that approach this time around. These songs are not going to be the singalong type with big choruses. Might be nice just to sit back and let the music wash over me at the show.
