Those hockey lightweights better get their act together if they wanna play with the big boys on the world sports stage.
Let's report the whole story here, people.
They were also playing loud music in violation of local noise bylaws.
Not to mention heckling passing cars.

Seems like the Staals were just acting in typical NWO fashion. Too bad they had to do it in Minnesota.

How does one heckle a car, and why is it a police matter?
Do cars have feelings that can be hurt? Might a car lose its temper and strike out at the heckler?
Now, if they were heckling the drivers of passing cars, that would be a different matter....

Kevin Lowe is at it again, signing RFA Dustin Penner to an offer sheet.

Penner looked good with the Ducks last season, but considering that was his first full season in the league, $21.5m over 5 years seems like a pretty ridiculous contract to me. Lupul looked good in his first year with the Ducks too, and we all know how well he turned out as an Oiler. If I'm Brain Burke, I take the draft picks and let him go.

I agree, Id opt for the picks as well. I wonder if Burke is pissed off, cant wait to hear his reaction, Burke doesnt pull punches.

Can't the term "car" be used collectively to refer to both the automobile and everyone in it? (All in good jest, as I know your post was)

God. Are we
that desperate to blow some cash? I doubt the Ducks will match, so now we're stuck with some kid getting paid way more than he's (likely) worth. Good move!

I love Burke, he just tells it like it is and doesn't care, Im surprised Lowe never gave him the heads up, or at least inquired about a possible trade first.
And here's a rumor I have a very hard time believing.. http://www.hockeybuzz.com/index.php
Hossa to Montreal, I dont see that ever happening. I mean who could we possibly give up for someone like him? The Kings I can see, but I dont know why Atlanta would want to part with him anyway, the guy is awesome, except from April to June.

Thats a pretty desperate and unpopular move on Gainey's part. There's a reason the fans were kinda happy to see Brisebois go.
This is worse than when the Oilers signed Nedved last year!
