I'm just not sure I'm willing to give Antropov the benefit of the doubt anymore. I've had my expectations and hopes raised too much with this guy, only to see him either tear another ligament somewhere, or look like he forgot how to skate because he's so afraid to tear something else out there. Hell at this point if he ever played even 70 games in a season it would be a minor miracle.

If it were up to me I'd definitely keep Poni, because he's shown me he's a more complete player, and I would have let Antropov go.

Well, we'll just have to see what else happens in the offseason. More changes have to be made in order to make it playoff calibre. You can't just do the same things over and over again and hope for a different outcome... hell that's the very definition of insanity isn't it?

It's all speculation right now, obviously, but the very idea that the Leafs would be interested in moving McCabe... or that someone else would be willing to pick him up at this stage of his career (and with his contract) intrigues me. What the Leafs could do with that cap space...

The Grope & Flail is reporting that Ballsillie has made an agreement with the city of Hamilton that if the team moves, it will move to Hamilton and nowhere else. So much for K-W.

This is a little surprising considering Balsillie's purchase of the team hasn't even been finalized, let alone a relocation. But starting at 10am this morning, you can put down a deposit to reserve your Hamilton Predators season tickets:

And Corey Perry is well on his way to achieve similar accomplishments. Memorial Cup, World Junior, Stanley Cup. All he needs is to keep playing well and make the other Canadian teams.

Maybe this year but not every year. That's for sure. I don't care what anybody thinks about that either....him winning every year is not justified.

Luongo had an amazing season and all but Brodeur beat him in wins, shutouts, goals against average, and save percentage, so I don't see how they could give the Vezina to anyone but Marty.

Looks like Dale Tallon wants to take a run at the Bonehead GM title that was vacated when Doug Maclean was finally fired. I can't believe anyone would be dumb enough to take on that contract. Amazing.
