Dial-up is not an option for this sucker. It's a big file... even the smaller version is WAY TOO BIG for dial-up.

Ya I assumed so, crap Cry

It's a MAv's eye view of a hotel room with Gord D (where he plays/sings Springtime in Vienna while wandering the room strumming), a preshow jam session, backstage pre-show footage, and then stage view of the guys performing a bit of Grace, Too; ABAC, Poets and No Threat.

And in case you didn't pick up on it, it's awesome! :thumb:

on dial up you'll be waiting days . . . sorry . . . going down tonight for a retooling, back in a couple of days or so on the hipsite

Just finished watching it....in my best Napoleon Dynamite......LUCKY!

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It's a real treat to get to see the hip off the stage as much as it is on the stage.

Cheers :thumb:

Hey MAv,

Thanks again! That was a really cool and normally inaccessible look into the workings of the band.

I'm I sure I speak for everyone one when I say "Thank you!"

I was a little surprised to see him playing one of those crappy Martin "backpacker" guitars. I hated mine so much after a while I had to smash it.

Anyone ever heard the joke:

Q: What's the definition of perfect pitch?"

A: The sound of an acordian hitting a banjo (or a backpacker guitar) in a dumpster

:jump

Mav, not too bad my friend. It's just alright. Nah, just kidding. It's a LOT BETTER THAN ALRIGHT!!! GREAT STUFF man. "No Threat" is a rockin tune.

- habsfan19 - 07-26-2005

at work right now for another 10 minutes

thanks Mav even though I haven't seen it yet

Very Cool stuff. I wish I could tell what Gord is saying during No Threat. Although the song sounds very rocking, it still sounds very rough. I remember the first time I heard Summer's Killing Us and thought this'll take a few listens before I like it. I bet the song will rock large on the album when it's released.

Anyways, thanks so much for the clip MAv. I really enjoyed hearing the jam sessions part the most. I owe you a beer, ok more than a beer, like a case or something. If you get all the beer people owe you, you'll be drunk for a whole year.

Tim Mech on Robbie's part for ABAC... nice.

- skippy the wonder dog - 07-26-2005

That is amazing.

And I second Lizard King's sentiment.

- habsfan19 - 07-26-2005

just finished watching, wow
this is the coolest behind the scenes/live stuff I've ever seen from any band, it's real, just people playing music
thanks again Mav
