I asked Paul after the Toledo show what they were going to play. He said he didn't know yet. He also said the band was asked to pre record and that they flat out refused to do the half time show unless they could play live. He also said he is a bit worried about what the cold might do to his guitar. He is hoping for a warm night in Ottawa.

Can't believe they were asked to pre record! Do these people have a freakin' clue? :rambo:

Well, early weather predictions site that the temperature in Ottawa should be between +10 & +20. Supposed to be a very warm weekend, but a good chance of rain.

Could you imagine Gord pre-recorded? Ashley Simpson would've looked like a master of the art of lip-synch!

Oh yeah, my picks:

Heaven
Poets
Little Bones

How does anyone know that they are going to play 3 songs?

I seriously doubt they'll play anything slow-ish...it's a damn football game not the halftime show at the National Art Gallery.
Goulet!!!

i think poets and NOIS are in for sure

I will pick in no particular order

1)NOIS
2) VS
3) Nautical

am i the only one who picked NOIS? c'mon, you know they're gonna play it, it's the song that'll get the best response from the crowd, and that's why i think they'll play it last. i can see them possibly substituting Poets for either VS or Heaven, but i think it'd be smarter to play two new ones and one oldy, just to try to move some more IBE units. i'd rather hear Poets than VS. i doubt they'll play little bones or blow, those are encore material.

edit: i guess i'm not the only one

In an article with the Toronto Sun, Gord told them that it will only be two songs. That being said, VS and Nashville.

if you missed the small print it read: must be female and not mind having to hide in the closet from time to time. also, a picture will help in this once in a lifetime contest.
