"Wreck of the Athens Queen" has a character in it named Reidy. My son is officially Reid, but that song was the inspiration....

Now that I think about it, I do have a friend with a Hip Tattoo. It's the Gargoyle logo with "The Tragically Hip" banner underneath.
I love the band, but I dunno about a tattoo...

Wouldn't that had been horrible for your son cuz he was named after the guy who designed the Titanic and said it was unsinkable but it wasn't and hundreds of people were killed?
I'm not an expert but that would really suck.

Well, ya know, Thomas Andrews did not start the idea of the ship being unsinkable. It was a cruise magazine. Besides, we all ready have two Thomases in the family.*sigh* we've got the Gord, named after his grandfather and the Rob, named after his Father, Hmmm..but no Paul or John...*thinks*

I would never have questioned the Hip connction in your name for one second! Named after Bobby Baker it is!
I wish I had some cool tag or even cool story behind my name, but alas not to be. The closest thing is that my last name is the same as the guy that makes the green tractors. If you think that in itself sucks, you should ask my brother John how he feels about it......

That's a good one! My friend Emily was almost named Crystal...which wouldn't be so awful, but her last name is Cleare. It was her father's idea of a joke..luckily her mom wouldn't have it.

Thank God your friends father reconsidered! Take it from the sister of someone who has heard every unfunny farm equipment joke around, these things are only cute for about a week after the baby is born....

HAHAH not a Darling anymore, but my ex is a REAL Darling
If you know how to pronounce my real last name, which is my maiden name, my name sounds like a common word and I got picked on in school because of it! UGH! Well, being a Wendy isn't all that easy either.

I feel like this is the episode of Seinfeld...with Deloris...or Mulva, or whatever her name was....I'm sure it's something simple that I could probably never guess.
