it makes me so excited to see all these b-lo hip fans hanging out at this place. i'm just hoping that they won't book their show at darien lake. even hsbc would be better, even though it's inside. i just hate the parking situation at darien lake. and did anyone check out the thurs. at the square lineups! no gordon, sadly. however, sam roberts is playing the opening show, and they're awesome! i love the summer in bflo :mrgreen:

I've seen Strictly Hip many times...Jeremy is a great singer, and a super nice person. He's like me - a fellow Canadian stuck living south of the border! Big Grin

But enjoying every minute of it, grant you...

I'm not a fan of seeing any bands at Darien Lake. I've seen The Hip there twice, and the sound quality is pretty shotty. I have no plans on seeing them at those summer festivals. There is something about seeing The Hip at bigger venues that just doesn't float my boat anymore. I've seen them in such super small vanues down in the southern states that I'm spoiled, and just want to see them in those types of environments. The last show i saw of them was on the IVL tour, at House of Blues in Orlando. That was a rockin' night.

I'm anxiously awaiting the release of osme southern dates, so my hubby and I (whom I met at a Hip concert, ironically) can plan our next vacation. It's kind of scary to realize that we actually DO plan vacations around Hip concerts. Are we obsessed?? Smile

also, i heard that strictly hip plays sundays at the tralf? is that true?

last time i tried to see LOTL in b-lo it was pouring and rescheduled to my bday, so i couldn't attend. luckly they came back again in the fall. hopefully next yr they'll play at the square.

LOTL will tour soon, as soon as the new album is released, or maybe even before. I know everything is done and mixed, just a matter of time. I'm guessing sometime this summer! I don't think we'll see them at the square but they'll be back for sure...hopefullly soon.

Snyder is a gorgeous little neighbourhood in Amherst. It's full of beautiful big homes and lots of Snyder snotty people! Smile

he's the front man for strictly hip. they play my area practically every night of the week. i haven't caught them lately.......gotta put that on the things to do list.
