My wife and I will be there! I guess I'd better work some OT and save my money so I can get some good (but, expensive) seats.

I'll be sitting this one out. Last year's greatest hits show did very little for me and I expect more of the same this year.

i miss them playing at the State in Detroit, but Caesars isn't too bad of a venue. hopefully the power won't go out this year!!!

I believe the price ranges are about the same as last year. Obvioulsy hoping for more than just a GH set with a couple new ones. Hate to beat a dead horse but the band could expand the encore by a couple songs and rotate old album cuts every night, then leave the main set to the GH's.

Not beating a dead horse, because that would be great if it would happen. Unfortunately I think it's extremely wishful thinking. I understand that it might be hard to diversify the setlists though, I mean they ONLY have 12 albums to draw songs from, that's hardly any.

I was just checking out the summer 2011 setlists and obviously they were GH, mostly the same. I must say it's cool to be among everyone who knows most of those songs but it would be awesome to be thrown a bone just a couple times each night. On the 07 tour, the band literally learned a different cover song during soundcheck for that nights show! Wouldn't it be just too cool if they re-learned a couple of album cuts for each of these shows...run through it during soundcheck...ie...We'll Go Too, Trickle Down, A Beautiful Thing, Fly, Last American Exit, 38 Years Old, Goodnight Josephine, Inch an Hour, The Completests....etc!

I have no desire to see any of the summer festival gigs. I'm done with outdoor Hip shows in Canada (although if I lived in Ontario I'd probably force myself to make an exception for the Niagara show with Death Cab). I just don't have the patience anymore for the rampant drunken douchebaggery, and the setlists always feature the same old boring greatest hits. I'm saving my money for the proper album tour later this year. I'm crossing my fingers for a possible Seattle-Portland-Spokane swing, or maybe a short trip to California. If they mix things up like they did in '09, I'll be more than happy. The amount of rarities and deep album cuts that saw the light of day on that tour was pretty amazing.

Pearl Jam does that kind of stuff all the time. I wish more of my favorite bands would follow their lead.

That would be incredible! And it's not like the casual fans who pine for New Orleans is Sinking or Blow at High Dough would get their panties in a bunch if 1 or 2 rarities were played. There's enough songs those fans would know and love that are never ever played anymore as well. Trickle Down, The Darkest One, Cordelia, Thugs, Greasy Jungle, Fight, Born in the Water and on and on and on would be recognized and loved by the casual fan. I don't get it.
