My wife and I are trying to arrange it right now. Just trying to get a good flight price. Cheapest I can find out of toronto right now is $900 for 2 people. We're going to keep searching. Our plan is to come down on the 27th of June, stay the week and travel around the east coast....see the hip show and fly back on July 5th.

Can't wait for the party!!!!!!

I was really hoping that STP would be on the bill, i was quite surprised they weren't one of the bands announced today. It still says more acts to come, so hopefully they still might be added, but i'm not counting on it.

I'm really not sure on this one...i'm already going to quite a few concerts in Halifax/Moncton this summer, and i'm told that there's a good chance Paul McCartney will be playing Halifax on July 11th...so i'm going to hold off for now at least, if the McCartney rumors prove false, than i might go.

I still love "self esteem", it's one of my all-time favorite songs. Offspring do have a lot of good songs, stuff like "gotta get away", "gone away", "amazed", etc...then again, they have a lot of really bad songs as well.

Can't confirm anything yet, Rory. I'll probably end up going. Sounds like there's gonna be quite a crew heading to the show. Rory, if I didn't go, I certainly think I might regret missing out on you turning this mother out. :lol:

BTW, how long are The Hip gonna play? 1.5 hours? I'd like to see a full Hip show if I go.

I certainly can't see them doing an "Evening With..." format. An outdoor crowd won't have the patience for a 15-minute break in between sets. But I think we could count on a 19-song set.

It's strange The Hip didn't offer the same pre-sale. I broke down and bought VIP tix, mainly for the quicker access to the pissers. Hopefully there won't be as many fucking idiots in the VIP section (myself excluded of course). What a great lineup though - can't wait to see The Offspring, Dino Jr, The Arkells, and, of course, The Hip again.
