But then they turn around and do something they haven't done in many years, sweep the Rangers in Texas.
And B.J. even came back to get the save.
Hold on to your butts Jays fans, methinks this will be yet another ridiculous roller-coaster type season. Some days we will be like this :jump , and then some other days like this :nooooo .

hahah no doubt, hell the 10th inning with BJ in was like that, but fortunately it ended with the bounce and not the head to the wall.. although I thought the game was over when I saw that sinking looper over first base, good thing Rios was playing shallow

He was put on the 15 day DL. I wish he was put on permanent IR, though. :? The bad part for the Tribe is that Betancourt hasn't pitched well this season either, and is a career 12 for 29 in save situations. They could try Jorge Julio, I guess, but I think they'll go to Betancourt. I hope Raffy gets his game together. :rambo:

I haven't had confidence in C.C. since his meltdown last year in the playoffs. He isn't worth the money that he's looking for. I kind of expected him to struggle early in the season. I assume that he'll turn it around but I'm not completely confident of it. The Indians are a mess right now. :rambo:

All I can say is Thank God Fausto turned things around tonight; having your #1 & #2 starters really crap the bed at the same time would have lit up the Cuyahoga River again....

Yeah, C.C. is a mess.
His velocity is there, but his command has gone AWOL.
He'll turn it around sooner or later. But as of right now, he's killing my entire fantasy pitching staff

The Rockies win, 2-1, in the 22nd inning.
Holy Crap. I hate to think how exhausted both organizations are after a game like that. Between the low score and the length, eesh!

Wow.. So Eric Gagne continues his tremendous fall from the top.. Homer, homer walk in the 10th to blow the lead for the Brew crew over the Reds, that must have made ya happy Esthete
On another note, I was at the Jays game yesterday and Burnett looked really shaky, but it was nice to see strong performances from the 2 new guys in the pen Carlson and Camp. Carlson has looked really good in his few appearances this year.
Also, I was really surprised about how the whole Frank Thomas situation turned out. I wonder who will now DH for them, because I don't think Barajas can carry the load. I think they should call up Adam Lind when his sore neck is better to play left field and have him platoon with Stairs and make Stewart the full time DH, or call up Russ Adams to be the DH...

Haha, good one. Russ Adams doesn't belong anywhere near a major league team. Stairs will likely get the majority of the starts at DH, with Barajas getting a few here and there. As soon as Lind is healthy he'll be called up and be splitting time in left with Stewart...and hopefully he'll eventually win the starting job outright. He's really been tearing it up in AAA so far this year.
