Cool Matt!

I believe you and Emma are going to be over Nov 11-18th, isn't that what you guys said? If so, and you are interested, you should come to the Wintersleep show on Nov 16th at the Mod Club!

Haha, thats the one I've got tickets for Trevor, Dave sent me a link to get them. Really looking forward to meeting up with you guys again! Whats the Mod Club like? It looks pretty good from the website...

Nice avatar by the way :thumb:

Wicked! Can't wait to see you guys again!

As for the Mod Club - I have never been there myself but I have heard good things. The Hip did their Album Premier for In Between Evolution there so I guess it is a pretty good place to play from a band's perspective.

Nonetheless, it will be a first for me too!

Excellent, looking forward to it, we'll have to try and get a meet up one night as well if you can, maybe get a few of us together?

The Mod Club is pretty cool. I can imagine it makes a great concert venue (sadly, I was only there for a club night).

I'm gutted I can't come along to this as well - Have a good time, y'all. That's an order! :thumb:

Mod Club's a cool gig, as I'm sure anyone who caught Das Hips there in '04 can attest. Good lighting, which will only enhance Wintersleep. Those guys inspire a serious sense of atmosphere.

Anyway, catch a seat at the plush couches stage right for the openers, and walk right into the front row before the band walk on. Very, very cool.

Damn, this album just keeps getting better with each listen. "Archaeologists" kicks my ass, "Weighty Ghost" is absolutely gorgeous, and the 8-minute opus "Miasmal Smoke & the Yellow Bellied Freaks" is one of the coolest things I've ever heard. This might be my favorite record of the year.

A friend sent it to me.
He's described his love and obsession for Wintersleep to me like this before:
Take my love for The Hip, and divide it in half, and that's him and Wintersleep.

Which is damn impressive if I do say so myself .
