Check that...it could just be the shitty internet connection.

The Hip must be throwing some sort of prima donna hissy fit in their dressing room or something.
Agreed. Sinclair and Johnny refused to play.

Andre Cardinal Wrote:Chris, were there this many commercials all day long?
Yes... It was really strange listening to it for so long. They'd do a set of music, with very little in the way of DJs, and then a 5 minute public service announcement about eartquake preparedness, and then the "We'll return to our broadcast soon..." message, and then more music.

Yeah... that's it. This was recorded earlier in the day.
srb Wrote:Must be having technical difficulties...."We'll return to our broadcasting program shortly" keeps playing, then more brutal commercials......
What's going on?
It's weird, as I said earlier, as this has happened throughout the day.

For awhile US radio stations had to stop broadcasting over the internet. Not sure why.
When they were finally allowed to come back - they had to make some adjustments - commercials being one of them - that is why you here bullcrap bumper music and PSA's instead of commercials.

Was all ready to sit down & enjoy, when the phone rang with a buddy who didn't have much to talk about....missed the whole thing, but I recorded it. Now I have about 56 minutes of recording to go through & extract the Hip...

For all who wanted a copy, I have rarred 128kbps mp3's for you and hosted it here.

I would upload to the tracker but my internet connection limits me in that regard. If SRB has any problems or whatever, I'll be happy to get my lossless files to someone who would be willing to.
I'll only be hosting this for a limited time, also. It will be down sometime next week.
I absolutely loved both versions of these songs. Family band was not what I'd expect acoustic, but that could be my favorite live version of it so far.

Sorry for the delay, I figured somebody would beat me to the tracker with the webcast.
I've uploaded the capture, but if somebody has a better quality recording, please share!
