I'm quite certain I transferred this from vhs and circulated it a few years ago. If I can locate the disc, I'll put it on the tracker later this week.

Up To Here (German): <a class="postlink" href="http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Tragically-Hip-up-here-Lp-MCA-Made-Germany-/280835875574?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item41631f62f6">http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Tragically-Hip-u ... 41631f62f6</a>

So I wonder, why are we seeing so many German Pressings? Is Germany just crazy about Vinyl?

Re: Hip Stuff on Ebay - biz999 - 03-01-2012

You know, next time I'm in Germany I'm going record shopping. All the Hip vinyl seems to be coming from there.

This looks like a nice German pressing of Road Apples, still in shrink. Not sure if it is a first or second pressing, however. A first pressing would have the MCA "rainbow" label (like the UTH vinyl). Later German pressings use the newer MCA label (like the FC vinyl).

If anyone is interested, I have not seen these so cheap in a long time. (Buy it now for $15, but shipping is expensive)

Wow, this just went for $222! I sold a copy in the same condition here on Hipbase for $60 :thumb: Prices for Hip vinyl are through the roof right now. I had 20+ sealed copies of DFN at one time (interesting story)...guess I should have held onto them Cry
