I think Richter & Leetch helped a little too.

i wouldn't even want him to play for the wolves right now, let alone the habs, haha.

Hard Canadian - 04-27-2007
the bulldogs could use him in their playoff run

Im sure the Cup Parade preperations have already started..

And TDC I agree about Kovalev, Ive already vented on this one but I think he has to go or take a pay cut, I guarantee that guy will never hit the heights again..especially if he stays in Montreal. He doesnt have the balls to play in a hockey town, he'd rather be an unknown, why doesnt he go sign with Colombus or Phoenix.

Kovalev did play great in the Cup run in 1994, i'll give him that. Expectations after '94 were sky high for him, rightfully so, be he never came close to living up to them in a Rangers uniform. Kovalev played 8 seasons with the Rangers, and the most goals he had in a season was 24, and most points 58. After being shipping out of town for Petr Nedved in 1999 (a trade that worked well for both clubs as Nedved became our #1 centre, while Kovalev was a superstar for the Pens)...in Kovy's second tour of duty in NYC, he had only 13 points in 24 games following the '03 deadline, and then just 13 goals in 66 games before being dealt to Montreal, thank god...he's your problem now

Kovalev played great in 94 as part of the Messier effect

I'm very disappointed with the outcome of tonights game, this was a game the Rangers could of, and should of stolen. Now they are down 2 heading to MSG, needing to win 4 of the next 5 games.
A guy that really impressed me tonight...Dainus Zubruis!

Lindy Ruff once again shows how much of as ass he is. His team won the game for cripe's sake!

hock: He was out of control, as usual, and the funny part is that the play which seemed to make him angry at the end of the game was ON SIDE BY A MILE!!!!! Lindy Ruff is a black eye for the sport. :rambo:
