As for Brady Quinn, as a Notre Dame fan I've seen a lot of him over the last few years, and he was definitely frustrating to watch at times. I have no doubt he has the talent to succeed in the NFL, but whether he can rise to the occasion and make the big plays when they matter remains to be seen. Miami is nuts for passing on him though, lol.
I think Quinn is arrogant and he choked in pretty much every big game he played in college. He may turn out to be a great player. Time will tell.
Marv Levy said he would have taken Lynch even if Willis wasn't taken by San Fran. I highly doubt that. I'm relatively happy with the draft. I think round 1 and 2 were good enough to make it a relative success. The other picks were strange but hopefully they'll turn out.
Some say Posluszny is the best LB, some say Willis was the best LB. Willis is definitely more explosive. San Fran could be really good if Alex Smith doesn't choke.

HBO has a training camp series tonight featuring the Kansa City Chiefs.
Hard Knocks at 10:00, every Wednesday.
This is the third team/time they are doing this and the other two times have been pretty cool.

I cannot believe no one has mentioned the injured Buffalo Bills player yet.
Kevin Everett is very, very messed up.
What looked like a routine tackle (albeit with his head in a bad position) has made his football career end.
And he still may not live, these next 2 to 3 days will be crucial they say, he is back on a respirator.
They also say if he does recover at all he only has a 5, maybe 10% chance of walking.
I feel for him and his family.

Devastating injury. Hopefully he is alright. He probably won't walk again, from what I've read, but it could be worse than that, like you said. He could die from this. Let's hope for the best.
The Bills were ravaged with injuries. Wire sprained his MCL, Webster broke his arm, Simpson broke his ankle. Wire is a backup but it's bad when your starter (Ellison) and then the backup are out. Webster sucks so that might be a blessing in disguise. Simpson is a really good young safety so that one hurts. Gonna be a long year for Bills fans. The only big positives were Parrish's elecrtifying return and the play of Lynch.

That is really good news. I hope he continues to recover. I also hope no other player suffers a similar injury, but with football getting faster and players getting bigger and stronger and faster... well we can only hope.

Exactly. Losman has no pocket presence at all. He takes WAY too long to make a decision. The short and sweet of it is that this is his fourth season and I've given up on him. He was so so last year and this season he's played horribly in two games. It's not suprising to see the Bills at 0-2 because of their schedule but to lose the way they have lost? Not good. I was hoping to see a little promise for the near future. The Steelers aren't that great of a football team and the Bills made them look like real SB contenders.
This team has a lot of improving to do. Overpaying their two defensive ends wasn't a terribly great move. You need to stop the run, get pressure on the QB, and be able to run to be successful. So far, Lynch has pretty much got all his yards without any help from the O-line, the Bills have barely pressured the two QB's they have faced. In the cover 2, you need pressure on the QB. With no pressure, it's like the QB playing catch with his open receivers in the soft spots of the zone. I blame the d-line more than the secondary, even though the secondary isn't all that great either. The Bills CANNOT STOP THE RUN! Ever since Pat Williams left, they haven't stopped any RB really. The Bills O-line has actually been pretty decent at pass protection but they can't run block to save their lives.
