Big battles in NY tonight, Montreal has it tougher but I think the Islanders will put up a tough fight for Toronto, they have 3 games left and lots to play for still. If this young goalie (whose name Im not even going to try and type) holds up, if not they will get smoked. Montreal just keeps winning but it scares me, how long can they keep it going. Cant wait for the games..
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!

Well in a couple hours the playoff picture in the east may be much more clear. Hopefully the Leafs can pull off the win and make it come down to Saturday. Memo to Mats "1 goal in 18 games" Sundin: Tonight would be a good time to show us why you have that "C" on the front of your jersey.

Not really, whats to be scared about, a mediocre team with a mediocre goalie. We smoked em twice last year to push there loser streak to 40 years, Im sure we could do it again. And if we dont, oh well like the Leaf fans have been saying for 40 years...there's always next year!!

w/e...If you're so confident then you should be cheering for the Leafs tonight, so that your Habs can have the pleasure of putting the Leafs out of their misery for another year. I know I would be cheering for the Habs if the situation was reversed.

Why would I cheer for the Leafs, unless it was helping Montreal..never!

I hope they do, Im worried you're going to have a heart attack soon or something..lol.
Habs are losing it, down 3-0 in the third. Like I said earlier how many can they really win in a row, at least the Leafs are losing too, that sort of makes it better, but not really.
Come on Habs, Im getting chest pains now!! :x

New York Rangers & Tampa Bay Lightning both clinch tonight...but the race for 8th is as cloudy as ever. The game on Saturday needless to say is going to be huge. However if Toronto wins that game, there is a chance they still don't make the playoffs, as the Islanders still have 2 games remaining.
I'm very proud of how the New York Rangers finished the season. Going from 7 points out around the trade deadline, to currently the 6th seed. The Rangers are 8-1-1 in the last 10, and they've only lost 5 of the last 28 games in regulation, and just 2 of the last 19.

Nice of the Habs to lose tonight, cause the way the Leafs have played the last three games they don't look like they have much interest in making the playoffs. They'll get one last chance on Saturday needing a regulation win over Montreal, but now they'll also need the Isles to not get all 4 possible points this weekend.
And how about Marty Brodeur, making 34 saves tonight to pick up win number 48 and break the record, in Bernie Parent's backyard of all places. Good on ya Marty :thumb:

*Jaromir Jagr scored his 30th tonight, so that's 15 straight 30 goal seasons
*Sheldon Souray scored his 19th PP goal, a new record by a defensemen
*Martin Brodeur won his 48th game, a new record
