thedarkcanuck Wrote:wowAlmost as amazing, there were 3 other bidders who were willing to drop from $285 to $330 on this record, which in reality was only a VG+ grade. I wonder what the next MINT or sealed one will go for. Sellers should be coming out of the woodwork now, after this auction. It's quite amazing to see how much the prices have risen in just the past few months. There is a Road Apples in the UK up on ebay now that is at $80 with 2 days to go and it's only graded as VGhock: $330 for tath vinyl...believe that is the highest price i`ve ever seen for a hip vinyl

Its getting depressing watching these auctions and seeing them hit prices I cant afford to pay. Where are these :censored profiteering sellers finding sealed copies? Ive been all over Toronto record stores with no luck, and Im dying to get my own copies :music

I cant imagine selling all my Hip albums but , really, I never thought that they were worth that much. I got 39 different rolling stones albums including their first North American one with the free poster still in it. Wonder what thats worth.

 Just cuz I've got enough in the bank doesnt mean Im dying to spend what others are eBay right now, I can be patient. I've spent a few thousand on vinyl the last couple months, but made a rule to never pay over $100 ... yet
Im going to enjoy the hunt to find these and its going to be so satisfying once I do. Next time the hip tour europe (or the next time I go there for work) Im going pack a light suitcase and go to every shop I can find. :music
Good job not selling me the whole lot when I asked because my 'friend has a birthday this weekend!' You made a killing. I still wish you let me avoid the shipping cost with local pickup :nooooo Congrats on the family and the high ROI on your vinyl DOGG!
