Nice! The Hold Steady are quite popular these days. Hopefully this will give the Wintersleep guys some much deserved exposure south of the border.

As with alot of bands though, seeing them live is better than the studio album. These guys rock live.

You can't be serious man. Broken Social Scene not only trumps Wintersleep, they're easily one of the best bands out there today.

Oh dear I am serious. I just don't get what the hoopla is all about. I bought "You Forgot It In People" based on all the hype it got and it aint coming out of my pile of albums I wish I didn't own anytime soon. The lyrics man just...yup, no, sorry.

I'm not a fan either. I actually own two of their albums (Your Forgot it in People and their self-titled 3rd album), but I haven't listened to either one in a long time and they've both been collecting dust on my shelf since about 2006. I don't think they're a terrible band or anything. I'm just totally indifferent to them. They don't do much for me musically, and when I hear Kevin Drew speak in interviews, he always comes across as kind of an elitist holier-than-thou douchebag.
Personally I like Wintersleep a hell of a lot more than Broken Social Scene, and for the record I'm really enjoying "New Inheritors". I could care less if they repeat a couple lyrics on some of the songs. The album is pretty damn good.
