pissing and moaning, the lot of ya!~
go out and spend some money, help the healthcare workers, and the struggling businesses in the gta. that's what we all did on the weekend, do it again, and go see the greatest rock and roll band on the planet while you're at it. selfish, shame on all of you, if it's a polka show you go, just to show that you love this fine city!

I heard Q107 saying 800,000 people just like the rest of ya, I also heard on another radio station, maybe 680 NEWS, that there were 300,000 tickets being released for sale on friday, sounds a little more realistic to me? Just a note: I just noticed on the house of Blues e-mail I receive with concert listings that Justin Timberlake is playing at the ampitheatre the next night. He was probably added because he will be in the area and it adds to a different demographic, to draw those in who might not come otherwise, and some of the other bands are not as widely known as him, unfortunately!

The idea of this festival is Woodstock-erific.

Not to mention HORRific. You couldn't pay me to sit amongst 350,000 or more people. Even binoculars wouldn't help you see much of the stage.

It's for a great cause, but it's going to be insane. I smell people getting trampled, drunks taking over, girls wandering around topless...all the makings for the Canadian version of Woodstock from a few years back.

I'll sit at home, in my air conditioning, and hope it's on PPV or satellite.

Oh yeah...maybe it's old/middle age catching up with me, but the thought of being outside in the heat of day in mid-summer for 9 hours with all the "perks" that come with such a concert/festival doesn't have the appeal it once did...(and I have fond memories of the Canada 125 Barrie show among others  )...

By the way, according to the Ticketmaster site, RUSH has now been added to the lineup...all we need now is Neil Young, Loverboy and Honeymoon Suite and we're all set! lol...
