Bookie - "Let's talk about track 9"
Gord D - "What track is that"
Bookie - "The up tempo one"
Gord D - "The Drop Off"
Bookie - "No, the kids one"

For f's sake he has the disc in front of him and doesn't even know the order.

Edit...posting at the same time....love it.

Bookie is such a knob. I can't stand knowledgeable music types who go SO overboard on injecting their knowledge that they come across as HUGE tools the way Bookie does.

you know those 6s turn into 9s pretty easily man

- sabatooch - 10-17-2006

You can tell it must be hard being Bookie's brain!!

just Bookie talk about a movie(i'm guessing) about the making of a bob rock produced metallica cd

gord said he didnt see it (seemed like he didnt really care about the movie)

then Bookie continued to talk about said movie

Bookie asked Gord if he had seen the Metallica Rock-umentary that came out not too long ago (??)... I guess Bob Rock is in it and you see scenes of him interacting with the Metallica lead singer (who was later noted as being difficult to deal with in a music production situation). I think bookie was poking to see what Gordie's thoughts were on Bob Rock after having seen him interact with Metallica. Gordie had not seen the video and didn't seem particularly keen on ever seeing it.

As you can tell, details are sketchy here... but nobody was answering so I thought I'd chime in.

Some info that came from this interview was about the next tour.
I don't think it's been said before but they are announcing the dates this Monday.
The Constantines, Buck 65 and The Sadies will be openers.

Sidenote:
Driving home tonight listening to FM96 I won the hip trivia contest b/c the guy on before me couldn't name 3 hockey referenced songs, or a song that contained the lyric about Kurt Cobain.

So i won myself a Stobie's pizza, and tickets to this weeks Yuk Yuk's show!!

Wow, really? Monday? That's awesome. Sounds like good openers, even if I don't really listen to any of them.

Congrats on the pizza and tickets to Yuk Yuk's! :thumb:

I made the trip down to The Edge before heading to the Horseshoe. During the breaks Gord came over and talked with everyone, signed stuff and posed for pictures. I think at most there might have been 15-20 people that showed up.

I was tempted to get a picture with me and Bookie just so I could post it here for all the Bookie bashers! Of course common sense ruled and I couldn't bring myself to such stupidity.
