Hate to add to this thread and sound pushy, but had anyone got any pickup info? The only reason I ask is that I will be coming from Ottawa as well, and would hate to come all that way only to find out that I had to pick the tickets up by a certain time.

Yes, through MAv's ticket giveaway. The only thing I know is that the person who won has to pickup the tickets (with ID), the guest cannot pickup the tickets.

The info for the edge tickets I won says doors open at 8:00 and I have to be in by 9:00 and to look for the edge line and bring ID

Maybe this will help you (understanding your tickets may not have come from the edge)

I heard something similar to that (doors @ 8pm, Hip on around 10pm), but no specific mention of ticket pickup. My best guess is that it will be a guest list at the door. It was similar a few years ago in Ottawa when 'The Bear' had a similiar private party.

I think at the Mod Club show in 2004, they had a line for people who had won tickets through the Edge, and another for people who had purchased them through Ticketmaster. I guess they'll have a line this time for people who won them through the Hip's website instead of Ticketmaster.

I'd suggest printing off the email from MAv that says you won tickets. Can't hurt.

Just so you guys don't worry too much... I'm also waiting for an e-mail with the details for tonight. If I don't hear anything I'll bring a copy of the e-mail from MAv and I'm sure everything will work out.
