Say what you want, I don't care. Kiss is were is started way back when and Kiss is where I'll end. There is a lot of stuff in between (including the Hip) This is a never ending road of bullshit my bands better than yours. Come over for a beer and go through my cd's. I'm sure we'll have some of the same.

Hey, man. It's all good. We're just stating our opinions about KISS. They don't mean anything really. I don't think they are a good band but who am I to decide what's good or not?

Hate them. most peolpe do. But a 30 year carrer (w/a 7yrs farwell tour :oops: ) is nothing to sneeze at. If they were a one hit/one album wonder..(ahem, Fiona), then there would be no argument. They are whores. I'm the slut.

Corpse, you don't need to justify your love of the band. I get it, but I wouldn't say I love the band anymore. For me, they are more nostalgic than anything. I grew up listening to them via older cousins, and I became obsessed with them at an early age. I suppose I stopped listening to them in 88'ish, but the fascination remained. I had the chance to see them in the first round of their reunion tour in 96 or 97, and it was terrific. It was as larger than life as I had anticipated it to be, and I'd go see them again in a heartbeat.

I'm with you and too old for this petty shit (well i guess i started it) but to say the are not influential or worth anything is ignorant. I am loyal to them even though they are no where near what they once were. All I wanted to do was give the info out about the DVD for those that care at all about KISS. But if someone showed a link for a DVD of early Neil Young (who I could give 2 shits about),(( and yes I know his importance etc etc, I'm a casual fan)) I wouldn't go on the thread and bash Neil or his fans. I'll give back but I'm not outright looking to start it.

Yeah, but Neil and KISS aren't even comparable. Substance over style really.

Anyway, why are you so bent out of shape that not everybody likes KISS? Maybe no anti-KISS remarks should have been made but it's really difficult to hold back when KISS are mentioned. You gotta understand that a lot of people don't have any respect for KISS as musicians. BTW, nobody is bashing KISS fans, just KISS the band. I understand your points though. :thumb:
