Hey you get to play the sCrubs, Bucs, Brewers and Astros...unfair advantage...we get the Chisox, Cleveland, and Minnesota (I'll give you credit for the Cardinals ruling the roost, and I won't mention that I think KC might even be worse than we are)...

So the race to 100 is on....but it won't take September...My money is on late July..yeah 25 losses a month..we can handle that

Too bad that Yahoo Fantasy Baseball doesn't give out points for pitchers who hit home runs; I would have gotten double my money from Bronson Arroyo today! So far my pitchers have been marginal cratch:

Looking at the Reds on paper, there should be no way that they lose anywhere close to 100 games. After all, they led the NL in runs scored last year. And you're right - the Cubs and Astros are probably both worse than they were in 2005 (though both have the potential to be decent teams)...and the Brew Crew and Buccos are both perennial sandbags.

But our pitching is just dreadful (even WITH Bronson Arroyo, I fear....he and Harang are really the only guys who have shown to be worthy of a spot in a starting rotation), and our defense is some of the worst I've EVER seen from a Major League franchise. Together, they completely negate what should be another season of impressive offensive production.

I guess we'll just have to see.

On a sidenote, that Arroyo HR came on an 0-2 pitch in his first AB as a Red....god knows how long it's been since he's even stepped in the box....his first HIT since 2001....and his first homerun since high school. Gotta love a guy who requests Led Zeppelin as his music of choice to be played over the PA as he strolls for the OD circle to the plate....




And check this out: Cincinnati Reds cheerleaders? Not very traditional, but I gotta say I like the idea (sorry Jenna).

Notice how they are innocently positioned above the away teams dugout...you don't think that was partially planned lol. Nice way to keep the opposing teams mind off the game....

And the view from in the dugout....shoot I'd take the ass chewing from my coach for the view

I think it'll be a close race between Detroit and Cinncinati cause it looks like Kansas City is going to win the award (again) for the team most likely to be sold for a bag of hockey pucks. One reason why I didnt put Elarton on my roster was KC's lack of offense and sorry ass defense. He's a decent pitcher, but I think he and the rest of the KC pitchers are going to get shellacked this season.

Detroit does have a tougher division though. With the Brewers playing at least .500 ball and possibly getting into the playoffs via the wild card, Houston looking to come back from getting their butts spanked in the Series and the ever dominant Cardinals; my bet is on Detroit winning the race

My beloved Tribe spoiled the ChiSox world series celebration...two out of three in their house! Keep your eyes on my Indians this year Hipbasers, we could put together something special. Most importantly, my wife, some friends and I are heading up to Cleveland this weekend for all three games of the home opener. I'm so psyched I can barely sit still...GO TRIBE!

yeah but I wanted to only quote a part of is humangazoid comments..and accidentally deleted the quotation marks around his name..which killed the string...but I figured it out on my third try

The Jays really blew it bad last night. They've let a 4-0 and 6-0 lead go down the drain this year. The starting rotation has been great, but the bullpen (save for Ryan) worries me a little.
