As I don’t have a tattoo today, I’ve often said if I did it would be a Fleur De Li tattoo. Hopefully without the prison yard stares...

Well folks, I think I have finally figured out how to tie the hip into my tattoo. The piece I am getting is going to be on my back, right above my kidneys. It will consist mostly of wrought-iron-like vines with a nautical star in the middle. The star is the hip addition, and my reasoning is this 1) I love stars 2) Nautical Disaster is one of my favorite hip songs and 3) the nautical star denotes songs from Day for Night in Hipeponymous. Thoughts?

I know, i know, it's your choice, but they always seem to look so tacky on girls when they wear low riding jeans and such. There are some nice ones but too many trampy girls have totally ruined that spot for me.That's just my personal opinion though... sorry.

I'm glad you all warned me against it...mine will be higher, as in at the back of my natural waistline. I DO NOT want to be that girl, whatsoever. And also, with the teaching thing, that doesn't really scream professionalism if my sweater shifts. Thanks for the concern all :thumb:

Well, she did say "above my kidneys", which would be more of a middle-back sort of thing, wouldn't it?
I'm not a doctor, but I play one when i steal people's organs for personal profit.

...I found the image somewhere on line and changed the size to fit to a wallpaper...I've changed my background since I made that post and now I can't find the image on my work PC - I'll check to see if I still have it somewhere on my PC at home - I'll let you know
