You must have a very interesting sense of humour... too bad it doesn't translate very well over the internet... still speaks to how important direct contact with other people can be. Hmm... also interesting how I just made such a deep point from an innocent-looking post, no? :lol:

Anyway, here are my guesses (some will be very bad guesses, and others will look like just copying off the work of others, but oh well...)

1. The song "Tiger the Lion"
2. Bobcaygeon (I know it's right, I looked it up)
3. Tired of Waiting for You
4. I'm gonna guess, not enough Canadian references in the songs.
5. I would have thought something ridiculous like Seven Mary Three, but I could see how REM makes sense.
6. Moncton (sounds as good a guess as any).
7. Johnny?
8. Pretty sure it was Indiana
9. Paul & Gord S. (as Eric/emperor penguin proved)
10. Fireworks???

Alright, here's my guesses:

1) Tiger the Lion

3) I have no idea....
4) i'm gonna go with "hits."
5) The Tragically Hip themselves? Wild guess.
6) Moose Jaw ( don't know, it just sounds cool)

I don't understand how people can have other guesses for #5 after Problem Bear admitted they screwed up and that it shouldnt say Rolling Stones headline, free point for everyone.

Anyway, that is interesting about Bobcaygeon, although it was my favorite song for awhile, I wouldn't have guessed it to be their only Juno-winning single.

I'm not sure you understand. I screwed up, not "them." You can still answer the MTV question, which, by the way, is the only question that hasn't been answered correctly at least once.

I was going to wait until somebody got all 10 right, especially since it's so close. But if that doesn't happen, I'll always give the answers before the next quiz. So that would be next Sunday, or when somebody gets all 10 right, whichever comes first.

The answer to #5 is definitely Nickelback. I recall the nausea I encountered when I read the Headline 'Like Hockey? Nickleback? People that say 'aboot? Tragically Hip may rock you...
