I predict 1 CD of the voted hits. The other CD will be unreleased stuff or B-sides.
I also predict the DVD this year will also be 2 discs. One being the Toronto concert, and the other containing all of their videos, or maybe some kind of documentary.
Just call it my spidey senses tingling.....

Gotta think that if there are doing two cd's one will be made up of rare and unreleased stuff. if you can fit 84 minutes on a cd, that is more than enough space for there so called hits.

Well, I will buy it simply because it's The Hip. They have given me thousands of hours of pleasure with their music, and even though we all have made our own compilations, we should still support them and buy the discs nomatter what is on it.
These discs are not for the die-hards like us, they are for the casual and newer fans tath may have forgotten past highlights. And I am sure there will be something new on there for the rest of us too.
I personally can't wait to see what they put on it.

I agree and disagree with that, I am all for supporting the band, but greatest hits are usually released by the Label more so than the band, the band is probably being forced to do this even if they don't want to. If it has unreleased stuff i buy it plain and simple if it is rehashed singles I don't

The voting is irrelevant. It's a foregone conclusion that the fans' top ten faves will be on a two disc set, vote or no vote.
This is just one of those things the music biz does to make fans feel involved.

Any word? Any news? Any updates? Anything from ddd444? Is anything gonna happen in 2005? DVD, greatest hits ...
I thought I'd be watching the DVD of the Toronto show by now ... it was filmed in December 2004 and it's mid-June 2005.
