*DO NOT STAY AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON ROYAL CONNAUGHT!!!!*
That's where we stayed NYE 2002... the rooms are awful, service was terrible, walls are really thin (we could easily hear the people next door partying through the night), and worst of all they only have 2 reception desks. We arrived at about 2:30 PM and we had to line up for 2 hours just to check in! Oh yea, and they didn't have enough parking!
We're staying at the Sheraton this time even though it's almost double the price, I'm sure it will be worth it.

I got drunk in there a couple times, what a dump! We got a place here in London just like it called the Brunswick Hotel and Bar, on Talbot St. You need to check it out bean, you'd love it! :thumb:
You mean "The wick", right?
Classic, dumpy bar. Just mentioning that place leaves me with a draught headache.
Anyways, back to the thread...I really hope you are still able to get a place. From what I hear, a lot of places are booked solid by now.
