And for the players who DO sell merchandise, well that's what merchandising deals are for.

What? You mean Holik jerseys aren't top sellers? I thought for sure with his superstar appeal that his gear would be a top seller! Big Grin

How can the NHLPA claim to be looking after the best interests of every player, including the lower payed players, when a statement like that is made? "No one would miss them"? Yeah, this sounds like the PA cares about the third and fourth liners! Confused

Weren't they comical? I enjoyed his inference that he, the Great Turner Stevenson, will be missed when his career comes to an end, but most 3rd and 4th liners won't be missed.

Umm, isn't Stevenson a third liner himself?

When I first read his quotes the first thing I thought was: "Wait a second - Turner Stevenson is still in the NHL?" :lol:
