I had pit seats, and I can say that they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! MUCH more than I could have imagined! I too thought that I would be staring into the middle of the stage, but the view was incredible. I also noticed that people behind me were sitting down.... I wish that were possible! I think I lost my mind that night... the super nice security guy in the pit told me that I had the "most unusually pitched" scream he has ever heard.

I also, by some insane stroke of maniacal luck, got the drumsticks handed RIGHT to me!!!!!! I was in such bliss, I don't even remember it. My boyfriend said I instantly handed one of them to the girl next to me (of which I don't remember actually!) Kind of pissed off at myself the next day, but she was the only one that seemed to love them as much as I do!) Karma... or so I keep telling myself!!!
I am new to this site- it is so incredible- but have been a fan of The Hip since the very beginning....... I am genuinely so in love with them and all they represent...

Johnny always picks out someone he feels is deserving of those sticks!! He gives them to the person who "works" for them through out the show from what I have seen. Bob got them at Boston...

Thanks! I have to admit... I was thrilled!
I am not at all a star-struck kind of person, but I felt like a kid in a candy store.... My friends, none of whom are huge TH fans really understood my excitement though, so it is nice to be around people who get it!
The guy sitting (yes, sitting) next to me was taping the entire show, and did not move once, just sat silently taping the show. I think I drove him crazy (Jumping around and screaming incessantly may not be conducive with quality taping!)
Oh well.... I had fun for both of us!
