I think all sports are a business nowaday. Including golf. But I still love the game of hockey, ill never turn my back on it, Ive lived and breathed it since I was a little kid. The only way Id stop watching is if they started using replacement players. It just wouldnt be the same.

I agree, NHL is the greedy one of the moment I guess.
Golf is an individual game that is based on performance, you perform you make money, you don't your lucky to get by.

Other players are jumping in now too...

Chris Pronger, Florida Panthers forward Juraj Kolnik, even BOBBY ORR are going on record as saying an impasse is one thing, but to not even try to resolve it is entirely another. I am getting really ticked off that there aren't even any negotiations scheduled!!

I work over 80 hours a week at school and work, so I don't have time to stew over this like I would have last year, but quite frankly, it still irritates me. I have stopped wearing all my Senators jerseys because I got so tired of having everyone in my line of sight say "So do you think they'll play this year?"

Good on Ference, he's a straight forward player, and apparently a straight forward man. I'm filling the void with Junior (Both the 67's and Olympiques are decent squads this year) Are you taking in any Hitmen games Casey?

Yup. I took in a Hitmen game last Saturday night. Great turnout at the Saddledome. Half of the crowd were wearing their Flames jerseys, including me. Obviously everyone is still in denial.
