I have both Pulse and the DSOT DVDs, and while they are both fantastic, I think DSOT edges out Pulse. The video is clearer, sound is a bit cleaner, and seems to better represent the drama to the performances. Well worth the $$ to pop that in on a slow evening, and crank it up. The femal vocalist solos on Great Gig in the Sky give me goosebumps every time.....

Right on Dannya2! Death Letter is amazing live. I think my favorite is Fought Piranha's. Did you check them out last summer in Vancouver? I drove from friggin Moose Jaw to see that show. Worth every mile.

Yeah, Grace, Too definitely heads up my list. The excitement I feel when that guitar kicks in is almost indescribable.

The foo fighters are a pretty intense live band; I saw them the first time they played their cover of Prince's "Darling Nikki" and their energy was amazing.

I've heard that Modest Mouse puts on a pretty great live show too, though I haven't been blessed with the chance to see them yet. Maybe sometime soon.

Excellent pick! :thumb: FCA is tha great-grandfather of live albums. The sound-quality and Frampton's musicianship stands up against anything and everything recorded since. To this day, the live version of DYFLID blows me away.

mykel & carli - weezer

don't know if anyone knows the story behind this song but here goes mykel & carli were huge weezer fans a nd friends of the band , on day on the way to a show they died in a car crash.

the boys wrote this about them and sang it with their familys on stage you can watch this on the dvd video capture device
