groovelesss, i agree with you about domi and belak, but antropov??(btw its Nik)
the guy has gotten in like 1 fight, he has no idea how to fight
he'll will probably be a very good 2nd line hockey player down the road (not on the leafs though)
the guy has been compared to sundin, but imo will not come close....but a bully or fighter, that will never happen (he's russian!)

Uh...it seems to me that Antropov is like one of those freakish kids these days who's six feet tall before he's 12 and has no concept of his own strength or abilities. This past season, in both regular season and playoff games, whenever I saw the Leafs play I saw Antropov taking stupid, stupid penalties.
You may be right, he doesn't start fights all that much (though he does accept challenges), but he's huge and uses his size to a fault. He holds guys down, crushes them into the end boards and stands blocking their escape, pushes people over like a giant in a forest...suffice it to say I think he's a clumsy, oafish player with no agility or grace. Sundin is a great player for sure. Even I know that. It's fun to watch him do his thing. But Antropov takes "grit" too far and takes ridiculous penalties that really make me scratch my head. Sure, he's beside the net to shovel the puck in when he needs to be (he had 13 goals last season, not great but he's not a great player), but beyond that, I can't stand to watch him play. In all areas of his game, he's brutish and overtly physical (and he lacks the skill or intelligence, I don't know which, to know what's OK and what's not when a referee is watching you).
Just my opinion...but my friend Christian is a huge Leafs fan and agrees with me. Antropov isn't the biggest troublemaker on the team by far, but he's a clumsy player with a bad sense of physical play who lacks the experience to know how far is "too far" in the eyes of the refs.

i'm a big leaf fan and i hate antropov, i just think that bully and antropov should be used in the same sentence, thats all

Yeah, I might like the Leafs a bit more if they got rid of...let's see...the players, their coach, their owner, and moved to Moose Jaw so I wouldn't have to hear EVERY SINGLE TINY SNIPPET of Leafs-related "news" on every website and sports channel.
