Ya,reading that back 2 myself it doez sound like a paid advertizement :lol: But I gotta give it up for them, when the first Hip hockey jersey'z came out,when I ordered that, they sent me with it like 25 Phantom power stickerz, and now they will send me CD samplerz from various Canadien artistz when I make a purchase, so ya their great :thumb:

Exactly! I've travelled through the States quite a bit over the years, and I've been able to find Hip albums in just about every music store I walked into. Ya just have to do a little digging. I was in Tower Records in San Francisco once and they pretty much had every album except the EP.

I'm with Summiteer - Maplemusic does do a very good job. They were behind the Gord Downie downloads too, no?

I downloaded a copy of IBE from iTunes (thanks to a buddy's US-based billing address) and bought two CDs here in Calgary (one for a buddy), so I'm supporting IBE sales in two countries!

Yes,they backed Gord'z play :thumb: They are big fanz of the Hip actually :thumb: I kinda correspond with them when I purchase stuff from them, and when my package getz here, they alwayz say hi and howz it goin. Smile

There were a few people at Best Buy the day the album came out who purchased two copies simply to get extra tickets to the Canada Day show.

For a Hip fan not to buy "IBE" is fully completely ridiculous.

I got a free copy from work and i still went and bought it.

I have even been buying the album as birthday presents for friends of mine. In the end it all adds up.

My guess is that the people who didn't buy the album won't say that here. Not after what is said in this topic. Or they ran to the store and got it after all, afraid of getting their ass kicked Wink

How did you get it? I can't find it anywhere in the UK (and all other releases have been readily available).

I bought it from Plato in Rotterdam, they import a lot of stuff. <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.plato.nl">www.plato.nl</a><!-- w -->. I'm not sure if you can order from abroad.

You can get it through the maplemusic website - they'll ship anywhere.

I bought two copies, but not intentionally. When I got my first copy of IBE home, I noticed a good sized nick in the disc. I popped it in my CD player and it began to skip on You're Everywhere. I got pretty pissed, so I bought a second copy which played fine. A few days later, I went back to look at the first disc and discovered it was'nt a nick but what looked like a piece of paper or cardboard stuck to the disc. It scraped off, and now the disc plays fine. Now I have a copy in my truck, and a copy for home. Money well spent.

Just because they're a good band doesn't automatically mean that the album is worth buying. On that note, I'm still not sure if I like IBE.
