dont worry its definetly not grace
No see, that was the point. I was hoping it WAS Grace. That song on the website, if it's Gus, is a Grace clone if I've ever heard one.
Might as well be called: Grace, Three.

lets wait till the album comes out and then we can hear the whole thing and compare them both then. it's tough with just 30 seconds to go on. Either way i love Grace Too, so bring on Grace Three!
All for now,
Aaron

I agree. Josephine sounds amazing. Can't wait to hear the whole thing when the disc comes out. All the clips sound awesome in my opinion. This album just might beat out Phantom Power for my #1 spot. :thumb:

What is Gord's fascination with tthe Dorsel Fin?
It was heard all the time on the IVL tour, now in The Heart of the Melt:
"then of course there's the dorsel fin..."

Off of IVL there was The Dire Wolf which sounds a lot like Last of the Unplucked Gems... So much so that the boys merged them together in a bunch of their shows during the tour.
I think that after you have a library of over a hundred songs, things have got to start being repeated. Not blatantly, but using a similar guitar riff is inevitable.

Holy Fack................this sound freaking incredible. Goodnight Josephine is smoking. I can't stop listening to the clip over and over. As Makeshift as we are and One Night in Copenhagen sound pretty tight too.
Man I can't wait for the 29th!!!!

just noticed "Mean streak" comes from the concert from toronto rants in courage.
just surprised that they burried, josephine on the last song on the album......i think it's one of the better songs on the album. is it me or have I never seen the hip release the last song on any album as single for radio play.....josephine should be a single on the album.

Yep... I can't wait to hear Gord and Paul bust out their scream-along melody again. Josephine was great live at EdgeFest and should be fantastic now that they've had time to perfect it.

I like that there seem to be some more subtle changes to "Ballroom" in it's trasition to "You Are Everywhere"...the "yous" are changed to "her", I believe? Also sounds like there might be more bass...but it could just be the difference between what was bootlegged and what came out of the studio.
