I was not trying to offend anyone with my comment about teenage idols..
The girls, I was referring to are 14 and 15 yrs old.. :wink:

Me, I am a little older than you.. I have the original 'non labelled' EP.. from 1987.. I had to drive downtown Toronto to pick it up at the only record store it was available in.. :wink:

Please no offense intended.. The only other Hip Fans I have run into are around my age.. I am happy I have found this forum.. :wink:

at the end of that sentence. I'm a big joker sometimes, but I really did think you were thinking I was a teenager. I think there is difference between a teenage lusting after a rock star and a woman my age lusting after one. For us they're just eye candy, for teenagers it's deeper. Now I hope no body is offened by that! :lol:

As far as Paul goes, I think he's attractive anyway. Maybe not in the "pretty boy" sense, but handsome none-the-less! Big Grin

I know lots of girls my age (20's) that think Gord is hot...both Gord's and Johnny actually.

I've been a big Hip fan fir eons...and since day one, I've found Gord D to be utterly sexy. My husband has no idea of my little obsession...well okay, he kinda knows. But in any event, there is no man sexier than GD (okay, except the hubby).

And GD just keeps getting sexier every year!

And...lastly...I'm also over 30! Smile

Well as ya know, I'm American and I haven't been this ga-ga over someone since the New Kids on the Block. Yes, I've been obsessed with musicians before but the Hip....I'm just fully, completely obsessed

I have a few friends, who just happen to be on the HB who say Paul is ugly. Now, while he's not incredibly handsome, he's good looking and kinda sexy BUT HE ISN'T GD!:thumb:

As long as I can hear the tunes, and catch a glimpse of the guys, I'm content. 8)

Which shows are you taking in? If you're planning for Ottawa, plan for a good time. I've been to several Bluesfests, and every year it just gets better. Of course with the Hip there, this year will be the best! Big Grin

I know you'll have a great time no matter which show you do. These guys NEVER disappoint! :thumb:

I'm not one of those women who'd grab Gord if I were in the front row, however, I'd love to sit front row at a show. The only show I've sat in the front row for was ANNE MURRAY! LOL! That was like in '87.

I'd shake Gord's hand if he offered it or I'd touch him respectfully. like quickly on the shoe or something, if he was really close to where I was standing.

On the other hand, I've never been to a Hip show and I wonder if he'd stand still long enough for anything like that to happen! LOL!

Most of my female friends think Gord's the stuff, but that Sinclair is the hottest of the bunch. My ex played thumb wars with Downie and was hugged by Sinclair and seemed to enjoy it... maybe a little too much! :lol:

I've got some great shots of the boys close up that are apparently "hot shots" but I'm a photographer first and a computer dolt second, so I'd have to figure out how to work this busted scanner of mine before I could contribute to your "project."

If I could find a little more out about the Wasaga Beach Blues Fest.. like is it on the beach? Where is the main stage? I am considering this..
For sure.. Sarnia Bayfest.. this looks like a great place to take in The Hip..

I am just getting antsie.. and excited waiting for the release of *In Between Evolution*.. I went into HMV here in Richmond Hill.. and asked do I need to pre-order for June 29.. Daaaa... I was told.. well if you come into the store at 10:00a on the 29th.. I am sure we will have a copy of the new Tragically Hip for you.. Maybe not if you wait til the 30th to pick up a copy, though.. :lol:

Anyway I was hearing on the radio for a while, that there was suppose to be another Ontario announcement.. and haven't heard anything since.. at this point.. I don't care if it's The Molson Amphitheatre.. Just announce something in the immediate Toronto Area.. Sarnia I think is about a 2.5 hour drive.. :wink:
