However, I do have a comment related to the thread (songs not played this tour etc).
I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall during the rehearsals for the tour. I wonder what else was rehearsed, tried out or talked about. I'm betting more songs than the 72 (which is an awesome number!) were rehearsed but didn't see the stage.
Sometimes, being a fly or spider in the Bath House rehearsal/recording pad would be great!!!!
I agree. That would have been cool. I just saw Neil Young and the promise of the real in Ireland. They don't use a setlist, but they have a list of songs on their amps with about 50-60 songs they all know together and just randomly pick from that. Would love to know what else they rehearsed. I'm sure Neil isn't easy to work with...

They played On The Verge and 38 Years Old at the first K-Rock show back in 2008. I guess for me that's still oddly fresh in my mind that I didn't crave hearing either this year (never been a big Verge fan though, to be honest).
38 Years Old is a hit single though, so I am indeed surprised it didn't get played this year, especially in place of less famous Opiated. According to setlist.fm, the last time 38 Years Old was played was actually that Kingston show in 2008, which is really shocking to me.

It's been played at least once:

I'm amazed there are only 4 songs with no plays - and they're all from MMP
was there really nothing from the other studio albums that never got played?!

As I Wind Down The Pines with one play has to be an error...
The bloody song is about not playing music for an audience.

Sorry, that was a typo on my end, I read lofty pines and my mind made me think As I Wind Down the pines
Otherwise, because it is setlist.fm and we are all confident there are mistakes, I would take it more as being directionally correct as opposed to exact.
Also speaking of odd I knew the song Fighter, Fighter was played in Cleveland 2004 but had no clue it was played two other times. Same with Hush being played in 2007?

I was really hoping they would have played Get Back Again!
It was last played in Kingston in February 1995 and wish I could have heard it live!

I was there, wish I could say it was amazing but to be honest no recollection of hearing it. Will go down as the most unique song of my Hip set lists. The main thing I remember from that show was the looping video rolling behind the band for Yawning and Snarling. My guess, I'd listened to the Misty Moon show so many times I just figured Get Back Again would make its way on to the next album.

Since 1993, was 38 Years really only played in 2009 a few times? I thought I heard it played on more than 1 tour?
Oh man, Trickle Down would have been sweet.
And since we all seem to be naming songs that we knew and know that there is no way in Hell that they would get played such as Hot Mic and Highway Girl, I'll say "Smalltown Bringdown" as I have always loved that song but have always realized that it was written by Gord Sinclair and presumably Downie no longer wanted to sing a song that he didn't connect/resonate with and could get away with not playing it due to less demand... Also, I have loved all the covers that they have done. I would have like to have heard a new cover of something... Having said all this, to be clear, I loved the tour, loved the Ottawa show I was at, and like everyone, loved the Kingston show. I couldn't ask for more.
