Yea, this is my finished product. It was great to speak to players about something besides hockey. Hamonic, in particular, really opened up. Crazy big fan.

At the Hip show in LA in 2009, the entire LA Kings team was attending in the reserved balcony section of Club Nokia after their game against the Canucks. I can't say with certainty that all the players were singing along all the words of all the songs like any true Hip fan would, but it was nice seeing the entire team out supporting the band after a hard night's work (presumably with complimentary tickets). Quick, however, was nowhere to be seen...

I remember watching some recent interview footage in the run up to the Kingston show and Kirk Muller was sat on a deck by the lake talking about the Hip. There are also these articles:

Apparently Holtby intends to auction off the mask after the tournament, all proceeds going to charity. I wonder how much it'll end up going for.
