This. My friends know I love the hip, but they don't really get what that actually means right now. I'm really looking forward to being in a room full of people who get it. Who will be feeling the same things I'll be feeling, & where it will be totally cool & appropriate to be laughing & cheering one minute & crying the next. I've never been to one of these. Is the idea that you HAVE to bring something that can be raffled off? I don't own any merchandise or funky stuff that I could offer. (The other question is, if I show up solo, am I gonna be just the loser by himself in the corner? :lol: - but that's the eternal question of the solo act)
