I was so lucky to see them play their first show in 5 years at a tiny pub on Vancouver Island a few weeks ago. Such high energy and really doing the old songs justice. And the new songs were quite fun too. See these guys if you get a chance!

Never heard of this band until I saw this post so it was in the back of my head. I heard a song on satelite radio this week and I thought it was pretty good so I check the album out today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Gonna check out more stuff from them.

I will go so far as to say Hamilton might actually be UNDERRATED, at least from a musical perspective. It should've been an unmitigated disaster; the fact it's not, and that it's actually as good as it is, might mean Lin-Manuel Miranda's the greatest human ever.

god damn I love Tom Petty! interesting note....song 3 on this album is titled Beautiful Blue, kinda neat with the 3rd track on MMP being titled What Blue

He's got a really interesting backstory too. His interview on the WTF podcast was great. He was in the navy and then worked for a railroad company before making it as a musician.
