Re: Canada Day London - Daryl24 - 07-01-2013

Mine wouldnt play at all untill i removed my youtube ad blocker lol so i HAVE to watch that stupid HBC commercial twice in a row befor evideo plays lol why do they need to do it twice in a row!?
The video is playing fine now tho, sheepdogs are just coming on now but i dont know how or what software to capture all this

Re: Canada Day London - Moosehead - 07-01-2013

They are on now. At Transformation > Grace Too (scream versions :/ )

I think it's live but it was weird. It just suddenly cut to them from the previous band with no prep time or anything

Re: Canada Day London - mark - 07-01-2013

transformation > grace, too opener. totally didn't see that coming

It's live. The band you saw before them was recorded earlier in the day...at least that's what it said at the bottom of the video.

I guess that explains how it suddenly got so dark Smile

Re: Canada Day London - direwolf74 - 07-01-2013

Gotta say, the sound quality on this is awesome. Better than I expected.

Re: Canada Day London - chancellor - 07-01-2013

Re: Canada Day London - ikky99 - 07-01-2013

LOVING THIS!!!!!!! Happy Canada Day everybody!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Canada Day London - Shane Kroeker - 07-01-2013

With this being a free show in London, do you figure this could help their European popularity? Looks like a decent crowd there!

Re: Canada Day London - carebread - 07-01-2013

It's so much easier to ignore Gord's screaming when you're at a concert. When I'm streaming something I end up shutting it off after a couple songs.

Edit: Does Sinclair only own that one shirt?

Re: Canada Day London - Daryl24 - 07-01-2013

At least Man Machine Poem sounded great, only because that song fits into gords screaming quite well actually IMO

From my point of view he officially stopped singing sometime around 2010-ish, just after his solo tour for The Grand Bounce. He sounds ok on the newer material, but for some reason he always feels the need to turn the older songs into a freakin' train wreck. I'm trying to understand what his reasoning is for doing this, and I'm totally baffled. Because it's not like his voice has deteriorated. He still sounds fantastic on the studio albums, and he sounds fine when he does those solo acoustic appearances. I don't get it. It's a shame, because the band has never sounded tighter.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, GORD? He didn't butcher 100th last week, why now?!
