This link is giving me a "permission denied" message. Did it reach its limit? I look forward to the Daylight "best of" every year -- hoping I can still snag it somehow?
Mediafire is being a pain in the ass lately. Here's another link.

That worked great -- thanks for putting these together every year!

I don't think I even bought 5 albums this year, let alone 10.

1. Albatross - Big Wreck
2. Now for Plan A

You're always on top of the good stuff, direwolf.

Those guys are from here (Cincinnati). I saw them play what had to be one of their first few gigs, about a decade ago at this local treasure.

Here's an article posted by Postcity.com: "Twelve Canadian songs that rocked our world in 2012"

They are worth a listen! I'm not surprised Mo Kenney made the list. Smile

I absolutely love these guys. Saw them at the Horseshoe last year and it was phenomenal. Erika Wennerstrom sure can belt it live.

I also forgot to mention The Tallest Man on Earth - There's No Leaving Now. If you've never heard of this guy and are a fan of stripped down folk in a similar vein as Nick Drake but a little more raw, check this guy out (Kristian Matsson is his real name, but goes by the moniker of Tallest Man on Earth)

I was really surprised with the new Soundgarden album. At first I didn't like it, but after two or three listens I was really into it. A nice surprise.

I enjoyed the new Hives album, "lex hives." Another surprise effort.

I still haven't had a chance hear the newest Propagandhi or Cuff the Duke.

"Lost Songs" by And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead was another amazing album by a great band.
