Just downloaded the Phantom Acoustic torrent. Awesome job whoever put this together. Any more like this?

The 'We Are Unplugged' compilation is fantastic too.

First of all let me thank Dana for turning me on to this site....good work guys.

I might be a little late on this topic, but the comp is Phantom Acoustics, I put together and mastered it on my computer about 10 years ago??? A long time ago anyway.
Like Chris said it was compiled from some radio shows I recoreded or got a hold of (all master or 1st gen) plus some stuff I just thought would fit in the theme of the copmilation. There is a sequeal if anyone is interested.....I'm sure it was on the database at some point. I lost my origional master of them both, but if anyone out there has a CD that I traded them years ago I'd love a crispy copy.
I'm glad people liked it.

Thanks,
Mike Aucoin

Just a quick follow-up to my last post. If anyone is interested I thought I'd clarify a few of Chris' source data on this compilation.
Every Irrelavance was recorded from a show on CBC Radio called Realtime. It was a fabulous show, in fact it was the Rheostatics that performed on that track With Gordie, and if I remember correctly they did a few more with him too. Great set if you like the Rheo's. Also, the tracks Get Back Again, Radio Show, We'll Go Too and Pigeon Camera are all from the CBC show (see a trend here) called Swinging On A Star in 92. They did a couple more non hip songs for that broadcast too.
Finally the Scared is from Glastonbury 93....it was from a semi official boot that they put out as a promo....I had the origional at some point....great concert.
I believe they made a bootleg called Glastonbury and Elsewhere from it.
Anyway I hope this helps any of the stat freaks out there (me included).
If anyone wants to know I can tell them sources on the rest too, just e-mail me....m_aucoin@yahoo.com if you want the info.

Later,
Mike

Phantom Acoustics is here: http://hipfans.com/shows/Compilations-Other/

And I'll add We Are Unplugged to my never ending list for uploading.

If there are fans out there with shows that they can upload please let me know and I can create an account on my FTP server.

FLAC only, with a fingerprint, MD5, and a complete text file.

Thank you VERY much Chris, again.

I do most of my browsing in iPhone and iPad... I can play an mp3 but can't download and convert.... For discussion sake I can't contribute ;-) others may be in the same boat

I have phantom acoustics on cd, not sure about source though....if someone wants it in mp3, ONLY for personal use, NOT to distribute, I'm happy to share it as I also have mp3 versions for iTunes purposes.
That being said, is it possible to tell what source I used to burn it to CD just by looking at the files on the cd? I know I grabbed it off the tracker, but I don't remember if it was the FLACs or not.

I have to look around for what I used to use, but I cannot locate it right now.
But in the meantime: I have not tried this process yet, but it can't hurt, much: http://en.true-audio.com/Tau_Analyzer_- ... y_Detector
