That's funny so is my boyfriend. He never says it, but I mentioned I want to go to a hip show by myself, and he told me I can never go without him. So what does this say when he dosn't care for them? Confusedcratch:
I guess I should stop talking too...or maybe he should stop with the questions. :lol:

I don't know about you guys but everytime I go to hip show all I see is very fine looking women :lol: I was at the ottawa blues festival show and I met 3 of them. One wanted to sit on my sholders to get a pic of Gordie. lol Which I didn't mind one bit lol :thumb:

man, why can't i find a chick (a european at that !) who understands my tragically hip obsession. my girlfriend just doesn't get it......

i think the appeal, apart from the music, is gord's subject matter which mediates literature and hockey, high art and pop culture.

hey capp.. i agree. my girl loves 2 or 3 hip songs but she usually makes fun of me because of how "obsessed" i am. Then you got these fine ladies on this forum who are into the hip just as much.. look at how many posts jen's got. Her boyfriend is a lucky guy, that is if she has time apart from hipbase to see him!

Speaking from the male point of view Leslie, think of the insecurity you might feel if your boyfriend started obsessing about Kate Fenner or another soul diva :lol: My last girlfriend got to the point where she couldnt stand listening to Kate or any of the bands she plays in cause i couldnt get the help to stop obsessing :lol: :lol: All cured now! :thumb:
