Wishful thinking indeed, I'd be surprised if you heard one!

Opiated

Obviously I won't be lucky enough to hear all of these in one set but I am hopeing for at least 3 or 4 from my list.... wishful thinking.
50 Mission Cap - Good chance of hearing this song due to the Toronto theme.
Apartment Song - Not likely. Hasn't been played in over a decade.
Memebership - Thought it might of had a chance of showing up during the acoustic sets from last tour. No luck
Emperor Penguin - I've been lucky enough to hear this song 3 of the last 5 times it's been played. Pure fluke since it rarely makes an appearance.
No Threat -It may be on Yer Favourites but I don't think it's one of their favourites. Only played a handful of times since it's release.
The Dire Wolf - Decent chance of hearing this song. Still finds it's way into the setlist from time to time.
The Dark Canuck - This one showed up quite a few times during the last tour but due to the length of the song, I think it goes back into the vault.
The Rules - More likely to show up if they go back to an acoustic set.
Chargin Falls - This song use to be palyed quite frequently but ever since Gord forgot the lyrics, not so much.
Vapour Trails - I think this song was unoffically retired in 2004.
Opiated - Usually makes an appearance once a tour. Very lucky if you hear it.
When The Weight Comes Down - I think the band forgot they even wrote this song.

Im am thinking that it being Canada Day and no new album to be touring for, it will probably be a greatest hits show. You would probably be able to get the entire set list off of Yer Favourites plus thow in the best songs since the release of Yer Favs plus a new song to see how it works live. Then there will be fireworks and all of us big fans will think the show was awsome and wish we had heard some more obsecure stuff and the casual fans will be happy they saw a bunch of hits but wish that there was a few different ones and the not very big fans will go away thinking, "Wholly fuck that was awsome, I gotta see more shows by them" And that my friends is how I see it all going down.
Following that we will see a ton of new videos on youtube and the opening bands will sell a few more cds and get some new fans and life will return to normal, except for those of us at Hipbase who will disect the show to bits and share songs and videos on Hiptracker.

Alot of people have posted this Guelph Lake setlist lately on the boards. While epic, they actually opened with Don't Wake Daddy, which certainly increases the Epic-ness IMO! For some reason on theHip.com Nashville is listed as #1.

I also believe that it was Music At Work and not Mean Streak, which might decrease the Epic-ness for some.
