I was thinking that <a class="postlink" href="http://twitter.com/thehipdotcom">http://twitter.com/thehipdotcom</a> would give me a setlist update but it didn't. Maybe I misunderstand the twitter concept or maybe I misunderstood MAv and shouldn't expect a twitter update until later.

I think you understood correctly. I suspect MAv ran into technical trouble posting from inside the music hall, or found himself too busy to make the updates.

WTF - i spent all night updating it and nothing came out the other end. Farkin waste of F'n time. I actually did it! What a waste sorry folks. I thought it was working!

As for understanding Twitter, you just gotta get on there and try it. I was a total non-believer a few weeks ago, and now I'm about 50-50. If and when the individual band members start making their own postings, I think people here will follow them in droves. Just think...

That's weird. How were you updating it, via txt/sms? BigA was tweeting the highlights - apparently Escape was played. 8)

What did you use to post it? If you used SMS maybe there was some sort of carrier problem. Depending on your device (iPhone, Blackberry, etc), you can usually find some sort of native Twitter client that posts directly rather than using SMS. There should be zero delay so it's pretty weird that your updates are only coming through now.

I just checked and it looks like you posted using TXT which I'm pretty sure is SMS, so I'd write it off as some sort of wireless carrier problem.

You can also login to the website at m.twitter.com from most devices with a browser and post that way as well.
