He was an NCAA wrestling champ, but that doesn't make him a great mma fighter. Time will tell I guess.

That's why I allow for the possibility that he may be very good in the future. As of now, he's just an attraction. He still might be able to beat Sylvia though. :lol: :lol:

It looks as though Lesnar will fight Mir in his UFC debut at UFC 81

Tough break. I imagine this means Hughes won't be fighting on the card anymore. Hughes wouldn't want to risk his title shot that he didn't deserve in the first place. Big Grin

I have a feeling Mir doesn't care enough anymore to be a real threat in the UFC. On paper, Mir should win this fight. He is a BJJ black belt. We'll see what happens. I'm hoping for a Mir victory to put an end to the ridiculously undeserved Lesnar hype.

Hughes is trying to catch GSP when he might not be at his best. Hughes even admitted it. However, it's still a risky match for both men. I'm glad it's happening. Hopefully GSP has been keeping in shape because he has only 4 weeks to get ready for Hughes.

Not much hype but both guys have been losing more than winning recently. Silva got KTFO by Hendo, who Rampage just beat. The card was pure shyt until Hughes/GSP was announced. Now, it looks interesting.
