Just saw the same thing on the Seattle Tractor Tavern show - Cancelled
Downie also cancelled a majority of his US tour dates on his last tour.

Just checked the Higher Ground website- that show has been canceled as well. The majority of the last U.S. solo tour being canceled is the reason I wasn't going to get tickets for the Burlington show till the last minute.

damn tight sitch .. though i guess it kinda makes sense with the upcoming hip tour - Downie's a beast initially* leaving himself a 2 month break from solo to hip tours.

Any certainty that the entire tour's bagged? I have tix for Boston and have not seen anything about it being cancelled. I expect it will, but one can hope, can't one?

I haven't heard anything about the Michigan show yet, either. It's still listed on the Magic Bag's site, and I emailed them but haven't gotten a response.

Dang, after catechism's review of the Chicago show, I was really looking forward to this. On the plus side though, if the cancellations are really because of Hip album/touring stuff, then I'm fine with that.

I'm not! I'd rather see Gord solo in a tiny venue than the Hip doing greatest-hits sets in a big venue these days.

I dont see gord compromising anything for anything else,like mentioned poor sales or personal shit,way to much integrity to cancel shows or to have a poorly planned itinerary.
