fucker Wrote:girls are raised to think.."boys are stupid...throw rocks at them" they are told on commercials "you're worth it" "strong enough for a woman" and"strong and beautiful, just like you"
i call bullshit on that one....it's the guys that are treated as inferior.
also name one women that ever went to jail for raping a man.
women are not target for anything by men and feminism labels the shit out of men. thats where kobe comes in. the fact that a woman can acuse a man and him be dragged through hell when he didn't do it is crap. she should be put in prison.
to me getting kicked in the balls...is rape. as far as the feminist definition is concerned.
Guys are looked down at by
Some radical feminist theorists, like the one(can't remember her name at the moment) who kicked out any male who tried to sign up for her woman's studies class in Massachuestts. She got suspended for it and later fired if my memory serves. Look at all the T-shirts that some guys wear labeling them pimps or breath analyzer dummies, or whatever lame slogan that encourages guys to think of women as easy, bimboish, etc. The fact is the battle of the sexes is more or less on equal footing. Both sides do some pretty lame brain things.

Agreed. There is no right or wrong. A fight for equality will always be flawed, but that's no reason to stop fighting for it, no matter who's side you may fall on.

if you want to continue "fighting" for equality. fight for both sides, or your ignorace will show. and if you think of yourself on a "side" you are completly foolish because then your gang mentality will shine through and will become sexist aka radicals. its not only women with issues, infact men have more today because of years of feminist advancement and labeling...and that's what make feminazis so stupid. womens studies is a clear example...hypocracy.

Sorry I missed this argument, but I'm agreeing with Mr. Rogers... no girl born after 1985 has a right to bitch about not being equal... I remember being in the school yards around 90 or 91 and witnessing this literally everyday. A girl could hit me but I couldn't hit her. Whether she liked me and was just playfully doing it or what. Woman talk about equality and then are enraged when a boy hits a girl in school. On the movies, the man cheats and gets slapped, the woman is begged to stay.
The fact is nobody anywhere on this planet will ever be equal... we have bosses and we have teachers, there are the old and the young that reverse roles over each other in dominance (i.e. the parent and child, then later the parent when senile and the middle-aged child), Americans and everybody else, it's a discourse on the animal kingdom, we want to rule, come out on top, we want all the mating right and all the food. We all want to run shit... Now for the sexes...
(And I'm not trying to hurt you or anything Jenna, you just have a flawed post, maybe)
Jenna_Bird Wrote:How could you ever think that women only know one side of the story?
Because women are not guys.
Jenna_Bird Wrote:Since birth we are raised in a male dominated culture. I'm nt saying that this is good, bad, or otherwise, but what I am saying is that the average girl is raised to think (consciously and subconsciously) that she is inferior.
Guys are taught from an early age to be tough... and some just aren't, therefore they feel inferior when they don't measure up....
Jenna_Bird Wrote:Physically, in most instances, this is true. But girls across the world are taught to see themselves as the lesser sex, the lesser half, and as something that doesn't quite measure up. Girls are still discouraged to continue their education and to become *independent*.
No they are not. They were all the way up to the late 70s. Almost every girl in between the ages of 12 and 25 right now in the world are no longer being "opppressed" as it were, due to the end of the male-dominated world in the mid-80s. In fact, girls are literally taking over.
Jenna_Bird Wrote:Men (much more frequently than women) are the aggressors in rape cases. This perpetuates the idea of violence. I'm not saying it's right or fair, but it is *true* that men are often the aggressors in abusive situations (rape or otherwise).
No... it's just easier for a guy to rape a girl than a girl to rape a guy, think about the plumbing. And guys are taught to be strong and aggressive! Sports, fist-fights in the schoolyard. Guys don't cry! Imagine a very young poet (8 or 9 yrs old) growing up on a military base....
Jenna_Bird Wrote:Not all men are rapists, or stupid, or villians, but all women are targets for that, and it needs to change.
Men are also targets for that....
Like I said Jenna, I'm not trying to start a fight or anything but you are only looking at one side. I am one of the few guys who grew up with tons of girls as friends. I've been the best friend they went to when the tough got going and such. So I can see it from the woman-side. I'm not saying there isn't injustice in the world, I'm saying it isn't just the women that are victim to it....

INXS lyrics
Shot your mouth off like a kid
Who's scared to have a heart
You're loosing grip of what really matters
Cause you don't know where to start
You wake up in the morning
With a starfuck for a friend
The things you do are so in tune
With what you said you hate
What's giving you the will to live
Is looking for revenge
The only laugh that you've got left
Is hiding from the pain
What must have happened to your soul
Is skinnin' you alive
The thing that you fear the most is love
And that's buried deep inside
So deep inside
Don't lose your head
Cause I can't do the time
Don't lose your head
If you can't pay the price
The heart you're building out of rock
Is turning into sand
Cause you never took the time to think
What it means to be a man
You act like you got the answers
When the questions never asked
I've been to where you're coming from
But the postcards weren't so bad
The knife I carry's been sharpened
On the mouth's that wont keep shut
I'll stab at you in the darkness
Cause I'm trying to shed some light
Your point of view's so meaningless
If you ever had one at all
All you seem to care about
Is who's is gonna take the fall
Don't lose your head
Now I can't do the time for ya
Don't lose your head
Can you pay the price
(SOLO)
Don't lose your head
Cause I can't do the time
Don't lose your head
But can you pay the price

what? developed nations? you clearly stated things like un-equal pay.
those are over the top unfair and untrue WESTERN society feminist theories are they not? i could be wrong.
....i think i understand what the lord is saying.....we sit here in a society having to grow up with feminist friendly school teachers teaching us "tolerance" and "stoping violence against women" but a boy gets beat up by a girl classmate, hes told to shake it off and ...."you got beat by a girl" by his classmates. teachers dont care. thats how it was when i was junior high.....only 10 years ago about.
where can a man go if hes beat by his wife? not to a shelter or even the cops. he can press charges, but it won't do anything. he has to protect his kids from her taking them away because she will get custody if shes "a good mother"..... who cares, he's a wimp and a loser, right?
then in university, where there is more women than men, (more boys commit suicide or drop out because of the lack of respect for young mens issues) feminist brush off the 4x amount of suicides and dropouts by boys as "men are just naturally weaker"
then you have do deal with violent radical feminists brainwashed by their "phd" womens studies profs to think men are the enemy.
..........then the guy goes to work to be drilled with sexual harrasment policies (clearly geared towards men)....then, after his 3 month probation and he enters the union, he is put to work harder and more physically (because he is a man, and should be stronger)that the woman that makes "the same wage"...then let go while the union wants thing "equal op" and there needs to be a certain amount of women.
and NEVER forget how fathers are treated in the system. the mother(most custodials are women) moves across the world and keep her kids away while collecting child support. a man cant pay, hes a dead beat, a woman cant raise her kids, she is a "stong woman" that can collect from the government .hey, if only guys could have abortion too. abort his responiblity just like she can when finding out.(i dont agree with that, but it shows you how many rights women have with abortion and their children)
step fathers have more rights that real ones. fathers dont matter to society.
if a mother is a non custodial perent, it can be just as bad.
i am not trying to bitch about being a guy, my whole point is why today do we have to listen to crap all over the place about womens self esteem, and the "wage gap" and pornography being rape, womens rights, martha stewart this and that, rape sheild laws and abortion, when clearly women are not pushed down as much as most of us think.
now, i will never admit that women have NO oppressons, but the fact is feminism clearly whitewashes any problems men face to help their cause. feminism is CLEARLY IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AND INTEREST. women becoming world leaders is still in progress, (the baby boomers are still here) i mean many women do quit careers due to children anyway. i say let women have the burden of running the world, i dont want it....im just the average dude. active feminists are hungry for power and don't care about men, therefore, they could care less about equality, it's a front. they care about thier own greed....just like everyone else, it's human nature. and the funny thing is, our society buys into it totally. these authors and PHD's are making our society scared of fighting feminism when it goes over board and irrational. because of this many are ignorant with cliches
about "men who don't understand feminism are threatend of losing the power" ect.
people need to think for themselves and see how things really are and tell these radicals where to go. i feel sorry for anybody that gets worked up over being oppressed all the time. our young women don't need that shit.
i say, quit spending OUR tax dollars on womens studies.

Well I'm glad my post didn't launch us into a war.
And you didn't think of me as the typical male-dominater you're trying to overthrow...
But I was primarily talking about here in the great NA (and Europe, of course) but in lesser-devoloped countries (LDCs and LLDCs?) the women are still in a state of submission. What's worse is their religion is directly the instigator of the oppression. I do agree with you on that point though... I don't know what it's like for women over there but there's many adverse conditions in that kind of world anyway.
So I guess we're both right?...

:? I don't know which side of that I stand on.... Hmmm...
Hitler
is probably the most famous propagandist (?) that ever lived...
If you search for "Propaganda" in Yahoo... Nazis are both 2nd and 6th in the results, so that must say something...
Bringing him up is not really welcome though... I try to avoid thinking about shit like that...
Like someone talking about their regularity while you're eating... lol
On a lighter note though... listen to this;
