Quote:Good try K-Town , haven't actually seen "Life as a House", any good?

It was just o.k. I rented it and I guess it was worth the rental charge, but I'm glad I didn't waste my money going to the theatre for this one. It was kinda like an upscale TV movie. "Father is dying, makes ammends with troubled son" plot. We've all seen this story a million times over. Solid acting from Kevin Kline and Hayden Christensen. No surprises though.

I find this is the way with a lot of Kevin Kline movies. He is a good actor, underrated most often, but the scripts he favours do not do him justice.

Could explain why the dialogue didn't stay with me......

Name this one. "I don't deserve this. To die like this. I was building a house."

I'm 73% sure thats Hackman in Unforgiven, great movie!

OK My go: Look at me. Jerking off in the shower. This will be the highlight of my day.

Is that American Beauty?

Road To Perdition

Here is an easy one:
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Is that the Princess Bride?......

Here's an easy one...

"Like eating a spoonful of Drano. Sure it'll clean you out, but it'll leave you hollow inside."

Space Balls...John Candy, oh how I miss you.

No one!?
Yes, I quoted myself.

As much as some may want, Im never going to let this game die. Just a little resuscitation from time to time is all it needs.

I once took a trip.
But I ended up where I should be.
They waited with great anticipation for my words.
And after 20 years I belted out my masterpiece.
"Roses are red, violets are blue, Spectre is great!"

No one else got it vicariousmartyr.
You can go again.

The Spectre quote is from Big Fish.

"I don't want to risk having bad sex today. I don't want it to be the last thing on my mind."

- grooveless touque - 08-25-2004

Is that from "Last Night"?

- cpierson - 08-26-2004

Yes, it is.

Ok...let's try...I'm forgetting what movies I've already covered. I should really stop guessing.

"I just can't trust something that bleeds for five days and doesn't die."
