If you go the venue's website, you can view an interactive seating chart that actually shows you the view from your seat ... looks like E is 6th row (to me, anyway).

Finally got through to ticketmaster, after hearing too many Melissa Ethridge ads to count, they are taking names and numbers of people who had the cancellation message. I have no idea what they plan on doing (probably nothing), and I'd be shocked if I got a call back (which they said this afternoon). Maybe a Saturday show will be added, if not I have tickets to other shows on the tour. This one is totally on ticketmaser, the presale for the entire tour, that is a different story.

No one's disputing you have to be a member here to be a fan. But when you're first post here is a negative one towards the band and their management when clearly this is not their fault, well, it just says a lot that's all.
And I know the hip's webmaster and I can assure you he isn't telling you to screw off. He is probably just as frustrated with the situation as you.

Trevor: I'm confused what you mean by the fact it "says a lot." To me, it says here's a fan who's upset because he lost out on tickets that he should have had.
And I'm NOT saying anything negative about the band... only that I'm upset at the situation.
All I'm saying is the webmaster could've been a little more understanding, that's all. After all, he's employed because we keep spending $$ on the band on everything we can.

Saturday is out because Gavin Rossdale is playing that night. I doubt anything will be done.
I'm sad for those who didn't get tickets at all, but my sadness at getting relatively crappy ones is somewhat relieved by the fact that I expect some really special songs. It's a two-set warm up show for the hardest-core fans so I'm sure they'll throw some gems in there. Right?

I think everyone trying to get tickets for this show should be thankful that the band is giving them the opportunity to purchase tickets at $20/ticket at a small venue. Just think about the other shows where you have to drop $90 to get a decent view of the band, or our loyal Maritimers who are anxiously awaiting the announcement of tour dates.

Hey listen, as I said, I'm not pissed at the band, just the situation. And it's not the $20 thing... I've already go tix for Massey Hall, but I wanted to take someone special this Friday who I didn't know when I got those tix and that was now ruined.
Believe me, I'm NO LESS a fan because of this debacle! (Unlike the guy who said he wouldn't buy "We Are The Same" because of this).

Just got off the phone with ticketmaster..... after a 90 minute wait! fuck that sucked! (pardon the language). They explained to me that they are not sure why this ordeal occured (having tickets but not being able to process them). They took my name, number and e-maill addy and said they 'MIGHT' contact me later today.
Had tickets on a few different occasions (one set was on the floor) but ticketmaster wasn't able to let me process them.... so the outfit that is solely responsible for selling tickets is unable to sell tickets..... Hopefully they call back with some sort of reason (and more importantly some tickets)....
